Dansfebers höstens första Cafe Cantante bjuder på äkta Cubansk livemusik med bandet Cuatro son.

Bandet består av fyra fantastiska musiker från Cuba som lovat spela

allt från underbar old school son och romantisk salsa till modern timba. En verklig förmån att få hit dem!

Vi kommer ha två dansgolv - ett för bachata och kizomba och ett för salsa/son.

Inträde: 150kr betalas helst med swisch till 070-5225185 men det finns även viss möjlighet till kontant betalning i entren.

Tomás Jimeno Rodriguez (slagverk)

Började plugga musik i Samuell Saumell som 12 åring och vidare i Guillermo Tomás. Har spelat sen han var 14 på olika hotell och shower i Havanna bl a Med sin pappa i Tropicana, Juan De Dios, Conjunto Folklórico, Hotell Nacional, olika workshow i ISA med Changuito, Hotell Sant´Johns, och på olika natt klubbar runt havanna och Matanzas. Kom till Sverige i decemberoch har här har spelat med alla sorters musiker och stilar , som Hip-Hop, Reggue, Soul, Rock, Gospel, Salsa, Jazz, etc. Också på oika Festivaler i Europa som Slagverkare i Afrokubansk musik, .

 

 

Alfonso Nuñez Mancebo (guitar/bass)

Born 1982 Alfonzo is a Cuban Latin & Jazz bass and guitar player. Born in Santiago, Cuba.Perhaps most notable for his work done with Cuban legendary director Adalberto Alvarez from 2005-2010, working as bassist of his orchestra Adalberto Alvarez y su Son for that period.
Nuñez is now integrated in numerous projects together with big Cuban names like Changuito, Tata Guiness, Julito Padrón and los Rumberos de Cuba. 
Since October 2010, Nuñez resides in Stockholm, Sweden, and has been integrated in various collaborations in Scandinavia, as for example with Lily Hernandes y su Sonora Clásica, Calixto Oviedo,Carlos Perez y Grupo Danzón, Gilito y Su Clave,Jorge Greenidge, Tomeu Alcover and TROPICANA Stockholm.

Michel Ortiz Acosta ( Slagverk )

Börijade studera musikvid 6 år gammal i Samuell Saumel i Havanna. ( grundskola ).Efteråt försatte han i Paulita Concepció , och där började jag spela med olika grupper .

i 2000 började som profesionel musiker i Hotel Capri ( Show ) och vidare med andra grupper och Orkester runt i Havanna, som t.ex i Meliá Cohiba Hotel ( / år ) med Orkest Habanna Jazz Band och tills slut här i Sverige med olika band.

Oldrich González

In 2003, Oldrich Gonzalez graduated from the National School of the Arts in Cuba as a professor specializing in classical guitar instrumentalist. Although the guitar was his first instrument, he also studied piano, going through all genres of popular Cuban music.

In the first decade of 2000, Oldrich was part of several popular bands in Cuba, such as La Charanga Forever and Gardi, doing several tours of Europe. In 2006 he was part of a Cuban-Arab music project, which fused Cuban music with flamenco and Arab music of the Mediterranean. Oldrich participated in many important festivals in the Arab countries to accompany many of these countries major artists such as: Wadi al Safi, Hanine and Jose Fernandez.

Since 2008 Oldrich Gonzalez lives in Stockholm Sweden where he continues to play at various festivals with various popular Cuban orchestras of Scandinavia, sharing the stage with important Cuban musicians such as Calixto Oviedo and Pepe Espinoza. In 2008 he joined the orchestra of one of the most popular singers in Finland, Jari Sillanpää, where he recorded the live album "Al Ritmo Latino" and went on the fall and winter tour across Finland. This orchestra was composed of some of the most important musicians of Finland and Cuba. Among the Cubans were the master Carlos del Puerto, Pepe Espinoza and Joel Terry.

Recently he was part of the Afro-Cuban All Stars Juan de Marcos for a number of European tours, and participating in major festivals in Germany, Holland, Belgium and France. And in 2012 he performed with his own Timba band, Solar Habanero, at the Pori Jazz Festival in Pori, Finland.
